Mike McKirahan, owner and founder of Mind Sight Training LLC, is a Sheriff’s Deputy for a metro county in Minnesota. Mike is a firearms and defensive tactics instructor for law enforcement and private citizens. He is the founder and CEO of Mind Sight, LLC focusing on church security and firearms training. Mike prides himself on providing the highest levels of training to ensure our churches and students maintain the skills required of responsible security ministries and increasing our client’s awareness to be confident in all the aspects a security ministry has to offer.
Mike has served in emergency services for the past 13 years. He has worked as a Firefighter and an Emergency Medical Technician. Mike has dedicated his life to helping people in extreme and tragic situations. Mike is currently a brown belt in Shotokan Karate under Master Bramwell, and has trained in the art of Muay Thai for the past two years. He has combined his medical, tactical and background in order to partner with esteemed colleague and lifelong friend Grant Linhart to bring together the Church Security Division of Mind Sight Training, LLC. “I am dedicated to be protecting the House of the Lord” states McKirahan. Mike continues, “I have a deep understanding of the spiritual and emotional need to feel safe in our place of worship. We train sheepdogs to protect the flock against the wolf!”
Gideon Protective Services is the brain child of the founder and owner, Grant Linhart. Gideon was consulted by two prominent business owners and supported by private investors. Grant has acquired a particular set of skills that are transferable to executive protection and security consulting. Grant was trained by retired United States Secret Service Agent Joe LaSorsa and completed LaSorsa’s Executive Protection Training regimen. Grant has also been in public safety full time for the past 13 years; encompassing Law Enforcement, Fire, and EMS careers. Grant has taught at the community college and academy levels and is an accomplished marksman, with a handgun, shotgun, and rifle. Gideon’s vision is to be a premier provider in the Security Consulting/ Protective Services industry.
We accomplish this by having the highest trained employees that can provide outstanding customer satisfaction, by giving our clients what they want in a discreet and trustworthy manner, and while upholding the utmost levels of integrity. Gideon will offer Security Consulting in the realm of Church Security and Church Security Training, Threat Assessment Evaluations, Site Advance work, TSCM (Technical Security Counter Measures- detective sweep looking for electronic listening devices and explosives), Surveillance, Counter Surveillance, Firearms Training, Private Security Guards/ Patrol Officers, and Security Investigations. We will also provide close proximity protection (1-8 member protective detail) to our “Protectee`s” (Religious Figures, Corporate Executives, Heads of State, High Profile Individuals, Dignitaries, Celebrities) and their families.
Together, we can provide the proper policies and procedures and help you develop and train your new or existing security or safety action team specific to your building or campus. We also provide continued annual training to assure your action team is trained in the latest security and safety tactics, also assuring all policies and procedures are up to date and in accordance with all state and federal laws.
